Mario Hans Rheinfurth

Mario Hans Rheinfurth, 89, of Huntsville, AL passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was born in Brauerschwend, Germany on September 29, 1929. He was married to Ursula Anneliese Rheinfurth of Germany. Mario was an employee of NASA for 35 years as well as an adjunct professor at UAH. His greatest passion was teaching adult Sunday School for over 30 years at Faith Chapel Church.

Mario is survived by his beloved wife, Ursula; his adored children, Klaus Rheinfurth (Nancy) of Huntsville and Claudia R. Butler (Raymond) of Birmingham; his brother, Kurt W. Rheinfurth (Ursula) of California; and his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 12th at Faith Chapel Church at 12:30 pm. There will be a private graveside service for family members only.
