Mary Dell Goode

Mary Dell Goode, 83, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away February 16, 2018.

Mary Dell is preceded in death by her parents John James and Eula Mae Clardy Beddingfield; brothers Tommy Beddingfield, Macon Beddingfield, William Beddingfield, Floyd Beddingfield, and Rowe Sherriel Beddingfield; and sisters Cleo Carter and Anna Lee Beddingfield.

Mary Dell is survived by her husband of 58 years Bobby Goode; brother Glen (Jane) Beddingfield; sisters Bobbie (Buddy) Baugher and Martha Ellen (Jimmy) Floyd; sons Melvin (Joyce) Goode and Wayne (Kim) Goode; and grandchildren, Kristen, Kelly, and Daniel Goode.

Mary Dell was born in Blanche, Tennessee to John James and Eula Mae Clardy Beddingfield on November 9, 1934. 

She graduated from Elkmont High School in 1953. She began working at Redstone Arsenal where she met Bobby Goode. Mary Dell and Bobby were married in Athens, Alabama, on October 11, 1959.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. The family will receive friends Sunday February 18, 2018. Services will be held Monday, February 19, 2018, at Spry Funeral Home with her nephew, Brother Scott Richardson of Jackson Drive Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow at Winchester City Cemetery in Winchester, Tennessee.
