Melissa Sue Hopkins, 50, of Huntsville, passed away on March 29, 2019 in Huntsville, AL. Melissa was born in Rockledge Florida to Fred and Vicki Hearld. She had a caring heart and would always help people when she could. She loved her kids and family more than anything. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with friends.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father Fred Hearld, son Dustin Payne and her brother Rodney Hearld. Melissa is survived by her mother Vicki Brodeak, step dad Ed Brodeak, daughters Nicole Lindsey and Heather Hopkins, son Heath Hopkins, brothers; Gene Hearld, Adam Hearld and Jimmy Dale Hearld, sisters Debbie Cassini and Kathy Henely, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Hazel Green Holiness Church on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
