Peggy Nixon Obituary
Mrs. Peggy Jean Nixon, 75, of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born on September 6, 1942 in Grant, Alabama to Grady and Marian (Click) Shelton.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grady Shelton and Mae Shelton, as well as her brother Jerry Shelton.
She is survived by her husband Toney Nixon, sons Mark (Bridgett) Nixon and Jeff (Karen) Nixon, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Peggy Shelton, and dear best friend Peggy Duke.
She was a loyal and dedicated military wife. She retired from Teledyne Brown Engineering.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Click Cemetery in Grant, Alabama.
