Roberta Schrimscher Hayes

Roberta Schrimscher Hayes, 90, of Huntsville and Madison, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.  She was born to Thomas and Elizabeth Nalley in Limestone County, AL.

 She was an excellent cook, seamstress, decorator and gardener.  She enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Roberta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother “grandma”, sister, and aunt.  She is survived by her children, Lisa Askins (Bruce) of Madison, Al, Sheila Bradley (Trey) of Coral Springs, FL, and Ken Hayes (Kelley) of Memphis, TN; her three granddaughters, Lauren Askins, Meghan and Shannon Bradley.  Roberta was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Schrimscher and Charles Hayes, her parents, bothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Spry Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
