Roger Edwards, 69, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 2,2017.

Roger was born in Hurricane, West Virginia, but grew up in the Madison/Huntsville area.  Roger taught at Christian schools in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.  He had a strong faith in his Christianity, and enjoyed reading the Bible.  He also worked at Intergraph as a Contracts and Proposal Administrator.  He is a West Virginia Mountaineers and Alabama Football fan.

Roger is preceded by his parents Raymond and Dorothy Edwards and his son James Edwards.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tanya Edwards, daughter Becky Darden (John), two grandchildren Joanna and Robby Darden, brother Sherald Edwards (Vangie) and Sister Janice Hinkle (Geroge).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1:00pm.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel.  The service is being officiated by Joe Dunn.  The family would like to send a sincere thank you to Hospice Family Care.
