Ruth Glenn McGrew, born 6 Jul 1925 in Augusta, GA was a native of Charleston, SC and moved to Huntsville in 1956. She was the widow of Robert L. McGrew, Sr. She retired from US Army Missile Command with 30 years of service.

She is survived by her identical twin sister Ruby Curtis; children Robert L. McGrew, Jr. (Glynice), Sharon Vann Saylor (Hugh), and Cindy Cosby (Charles); grandchildren Michelle Hammons (Lee), Jesse Cosby (Tamara), Ryan Vann (Cindy), and Kevin McGrew (Stephanie); and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
