Ryan Patrick Levi-Reid

Mr. Ryan Patrick Levi-Reid, 38, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. He was born on Aug. 14, 1980, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and grew up there and outside Atlanta, Georgia, and in Madison, Alabama. Ryan graduated from Bob Jones High School in Madison in 1999 and worked as a veterinary technician with his father, Dr. James N. Reid, at Pet Med Plus in Madison. They worked together for 15 years, and Ryan also started interior design and house cleaning businesses in the following years. He was an animal lover and cancer survivor who never met a stranger. Ryan loved his family and friends, was beloved for being compassionate and considerate and could make anyone laugh. He loved the Golden Girls, Roseanne and The Goldbergs television shows, frogs, candles, sunsets, the Auburn Tigers and his dog, Brinks. Ryan is survived by his father, Dr. James Neal Reid, of Huntsville, his brother, Christopher Neal Reid, of Las Vegas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Lane Reid, and both sets of grandparents.

Visitation for Mr. Levi-Reid will be held at Spry Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 5:00pm until 6:00 pm. Services will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his honor to The Humane Society.
