Shelly Wallace Drake, age 65 of Huntsville, died Monday at Huntsville Hospital. He was a native of Madison County and a retired businessman. He was a member of the Big Cove Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Mitchell & Lizzie Drake; sister: Virginia Fagan & grandson Carson Drake.
He is survived by his loving wife: Pat Drake of Huntsville; daughter: Kimberly Dunn of Boynton Beach, FL; two sons: Marlin Drake of Big Cove & Brent Drake of Huntsville; brother: Rev. Oakley Drake of Big Cove; three sisters: Juanita Osborne, Elvira Lawson, & Nelda Smith all of Big Cove, and two granddaughters Hollee Bartell of Indianapolis, IN and C. J. Drake of Owens Cross Roads.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday. Funeral service will be at Big Cove Holiness Church at 2:00 PM Wednesday, with Brother A. J. Brannum & Brother Bruce Terry officiating. Interment will be at Green Valley Cemetery.
