T. Patrick Ikemire, gained his wings on June 30, 2019 at his home in Huntsville. A native of Huntsville, he was smart, hard working, dedicated, adventurous, which we’re just a few of his traits. At a very early age, Patrick fell in love with sports. He played baseball, basketball, and football for Oak Park and Civic League here in Huntsville. Although he loved all three sports, he thrived in baseball. His favorite sports team was the Auburn Tigers, which he enjoyed watching with his family. He really loved the outdoors and fishing in his free time. He was a big animal lover and enjoyed taking care of his dogs. Patrick was the best uncle his nieces and nephew could ask for. He spent a lot of time with his nephew teaching him how to play baseball, fish, and other sports, and spoiling him with just about anything he wanted.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy Joe Ikemire and Betty Marie Feeney Ikemire, paternal grandmother, Linda Sue Brunette, and his favorite uncle, Mark Ikemire.
Patrick leaves behind his parents, Trina (Ikemire) and Ron Brunette; brother, Aaron Ikemire, nephew, AJ Ikemire, two nieces, Ali and Kayleigh Ikemire; Aunt, Tina Ikemire Schmeltz, two cousins he grew up with Heather and Ashley Schmeltz and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Spry Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm with a memorial service following in the chapel at 3:00 pm.
