Virginia Rebecca (Watson) Holliday, age 83 of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday at a local nursing home. A native of Montgomery, she has resided in Madison County for 53 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 59 years, Edward M. Holliday, Sr., two sons, Marshall Holliday and Howard Holliday; sister, Martha Teague; three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00pm Thursday.  Funeral service will be Friday at 12:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Montgomery.  Interment service will follow at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
