William Ray McDaniel

William Ray McDaniel, 80, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Monday August 5, 2019 at his home. A longtime Huntsville business owner, Ray valued his community and placed his family above all else. Ray is preceded in death by his wife Judy McDaniel of Huntsville, AL; mother, Ruby Lynn of Athens, AL; his father, Robert McDaniel of Taylor, MI; brothers Jerry McDaniel of Detroit, MI and Robert McDaniel of Buford, GA; sister Mary Jefferies of Athens, AL; and son Andy McDaniel of Huntsville, AL.

Survivors include three sons; Scott McDaniel of Huntsville; Tim (Jodi) McDaniel of Buford, GA; Chris McDaniel of Mobile, AL; and one daughter, Raychelle (Steven) McDaniel of Huntsville; three Grandsons; Robert Lewis ll of Huntsville; Cayman and Carter McDaniel of Buford GA; and five Granddaughters; Hanna Davis of New Orleans, LA; Nicole McDaniel of Huntsville; Olivia, Isabella and Emma Tankersley of Huntsville. A host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 6,2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 7th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
