William Robert Wessels

Dr. William Robert Wessels, 70, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on April 26, 2019. Bill was born at the Fort Gordon Military Hospital in Georgia on December 22, 1948. Dr. Wessels was preceded m death by his father, Col (R) Robert R Wessels and his mother, Mary Wessels of Huntsville, Alabama. He is survived by his loving wife, Tudor Wessels. Bill was a graduate of the United States Military Academy (Class of 1970) and proudly served in Vietnam and Europe. Bill also graduated from the University of Alabama with a Masters of Business Administration and the University of Alabama (Huntsville) with a PhD in Reliability' Engineering. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill is being cremated and his ashes will be at rest in the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity in Bill’s memory.
