Andrew John Bodnar

Andrew John Bodnar, also known as Andy, passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 83 in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on December 23, 1939, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Andy was a loving husband to Suzan and a devoted father to his daughters, Emily Bodnar and Laura Clemons. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, Harvey and Adeline “Ash” Ross. Andy had a successful career as a metallurgist, during his 40 years at Teledyne. He was highly regarded in his field and made significant contributions throughout his tenure. In his free time, Andy enjoyed traveling, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Some of his favorite travel destinations were lighthouses and beaches of the coasts of the Southeastern US. These activities brought him enjoyment and created lasting memories with family. Visitation with the family will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama on Sunday, October 15th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Andy's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends, and his legacy will live on in their hearts
