Angela Carter, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. She was born on September 25th, 1962, in Brownsville, Tennessee, the daughter of Ella Sullivan and the late Hilbert Carter Sr. Angela was a nurturing, kind, and loving mother, sister, grandmother (Nanna), and friend to everyone she knew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Baker; her father, Hilbert Carter Sr.; and her sister and brother-in-law, Marna and Mark Brasili.
Angela is survived by her oldest son, Skyler Carter, his wife, Porcher, and their two children, Issiah and Kameron; her youngest son, Collin Carter, his wife, Jordan, and their four children, Rylee, Adriel, Emslee, and Harmonee. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Hilbert (David) Carter Jr., and his wife, Tanya; and her sister, Telisa Carter.
Angie truly enjoyed spending time with family, reading, gaining knowledge, watching sports, sharing laughter, and maintaining an optimistic outlook. She epitomized a cheerful giver and was a selfless person who gave willingly to anyone in need, consistently putting others before herself. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring heart, passion for knowledge, love, and enduring faith.
