Annie “Nonnie” Marie Moyers (Hodge), 78, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away on May 9th, 2024.
She was known by everyone as the "best" bus driver, Ms. Ann. But, most importantly, the best mother, sister, Nonnie, confidant, and a strong woman. She was a determined, hardworking, loving, give her shirt off her back, stubborn woman. She had a smile that could light up a room, and the sweetest giggle. She gave the warmest hugs and kisses. She didn't care how big or small one was, she would still welcome you to sit on her lap. She loved to garden, give to and help others, and company with a good conversation. She loved with all she had fiercely.
She may have passed on, but her memories will live within each of us always. We know she is in a much better place.
She is survived her sister, Maggie Orlando (Ted); daughters, Diann Barfield (Tim) and Betty Wheat (Danny); grandchildren, Marie Scott, Ashley Barfield (Marinello), and Valerie Barfield; and great-grandchildren, Jonah Barfield, Addison Marinello, Lukah Barfield, Jude Scott, Talia Barfield (Smith), Connor Scott, Zuri Barfield (Wright). She is also survived by countless cousins and friends.
"We are grateful you are our Nonnie. We have so many loving and priceless memories of you throughout our lives. You will always be loved and forever missed." -Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren
"To my mother in heaven, thank you for always loving me and guiding me. Even though you are no longer with me I can still feel your love guiding me. You are always in my heart. I love you and miss you dearly." - Diann Barfield
