After 96 years of fascinating and often turbulent years, Asta von Tiesenhausen, née Esch, passed away in her sleep in the early hours of 1 August. Asta was born and raised in Hamburg/Altona, Germany to Elisabeth Esch, née Roters and Hamburg District Judge, Ferdinand Esch, JD on 4 February 1926. She counseled at the Help Line for 35 years.
Cherishing her memory are her three children, Evamaria Belt (Merwyn), Georg von Tiesenhausen, Jr. (Ardelle M.), and Jutta von Tiesenhausen (Leroy Hush); 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
