Audry Faye (Lamon) Walker

Audry Faye Walker, 91, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on August 30, 2025 in her home. She was born on January 26, 1934 in Mulberry, Florida to the late Elbert and Marvin Lamon.

Along with raising five children, Faye worked at Redstone Arsenal as a secretary/clerk for 30 plus years. Once she retired, she happily volunteered at Huntsville Hospital in the surgery waiting area. She also enjoyed handing out samples and coupons in grocery stores as she talked everyone's ears off. Faye was well known by the employees at Huntsville Public Library as she read an average of 5-7 books a week.

Faye will be remembered by her children, Pam (Dale) Berger, Becky (Bill) Michael, Rhonda Faye Garza, the late Jeffery Walker, Lee Walker, her 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. 

Faye will also be remembered by her very dear friends and caregivers, Adam and Becki Renfro, who became her second family. 

A private family service will be held in her honor.

Services are in care of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
