Barbara K Anderson

Barbara K. Anderson passed away on Wednesday May 6,2020. Barbara was born February 18,1959 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Joseph and Mary Ann Knothe. Barbara moved to Huntsville in December of 1973, where she met Jackie Anderson on a blind date. Barbara and Jackie were married on September 21,1977.

In her high school years, Barbara was a gymnastics champion. She always enjoyed horses and the beach. Her true passion was being a loving wife, mother, nana, and homemaker. Her time at home was a blessing to her, but she also loved working in medical records where she developed some life long friendships. Barbara was also a member of Chapman Pool and even served on the pool board. The summers at the pool was something she looked forward to every year. One of Barbara's favorite Bible passages was 2 Timothy 4:7 which describes her, because she fought the good fight.

Barbara is survived by her mother Mary Ann Knothe, her husband Jackie, two sons Jeremiah, his wife Amy, Jeffrey, two grandchildren Logan and Briana, two brothers Greg Knothe and Larry Knothe, two sisters Jayne Faulkner and Nancy Clark, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Barbara will be laid to rest with a private ceremony on Sunday May 10,2020 at Maple Hill Cemetery, in Huntsville, Alabama. Pallbearers include Robert Miller Jr., Michael Cluxton, Chris Cluxton, Dewayne Pugh, Tod Deboer, and Andy Kilbourn.
