Barbara Staples Burns

Mrs. Barbara Staples Burns of Madison, AL passed peacefully with her family by her side after a long heroic battle with Cancer on Sunday February 16 2020. She was born and raised in western New York, but her home was in Madison, AL.  Barbara had a passion for horses her entire life.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles and piloting airplanes with her husband. She loved God, her church, her family, friends and neighbors.  She is survived by her husband of 22 years Bob Burns. She is survived by her Sons; Brad Staples (Dionne), Rob Burns (Stephanie),and  Anthony Burns. She is also survived by her mother Arvilla Cook Staples, Brothers: Duane Staples (Jackie), and Rob Staples (Chris). 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Her smile, and laughter and integrity was infectious and she will be greatly missed.
