Barbara Dean (Norton) Edwards

Barbara Dean Edwards, age 84, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on September 13, 2025.

Barbara was born in 1940 to Dalton and Hattie Norton and was the youngest of 8 children.  She spent her days in Alabama and Tennessee. Married to Bert for 64 years, a loving mom and a dedicated and selfless grandmother and great grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Edwards; and son, Gary Edwards. 

Survived by her son, Russ and daughter-in-law, Jennifer; her son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Candy; seven grandchildren, Emma, Jackson (Anna), Ally (Andrew), Annie, Cody (Emma), Casen, and Chase; four great grandchildren, Louisa, Shiloh, Maximus, and Rory.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with visitation from 1:00pm-2:00pm and Funeral Service at 2:00pm. A Graveside service will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers or memorial tributes the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
