Belva Reid Obituary

Mrs. Belva Reid, 90, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Friday, April 3, 2020. She was born on June 5, 1929 in Middletown , Ohio to Axley and Carrie (Borders) Griffey. She was a member of Monte Sano Baptist Church where she was the Director of the Preschool for many years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Reid is survived by her children Pamela Rowsey, Tim Reid, Mary Ellen Reid and John Reid; and grandchildren Jody Renee Summers (Jimi), Jamie Rowsey and Jake Reid. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C. A. Reid; brothers Lenzy Griffey and Allen Griffey; and sister Mildred Jones.

The family will have a private graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery and a memorial service at a later time.
