Betty Joyce Bourque

Betty Joyce Bourque, 86 of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was born August 29, 1933 to Wiley Jaco and Berdie Esslinger in Huntsville. She graduated from Lincoln School and then worked as an operator for BellSouth, as a civilian for the Air Force and for the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Ms. Bourque worshiped at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She spent most of her life dedicated to helping others and loved spending time with her family.

Ms. Bourque is survived by her sons: Wade Majors (Cindy), Dan Bourque (Barbara) and David Bourque (Sherry); grandchildren: Monica Marie Majors, Mindy Lea Majors, Michelle Joyce Majors, Dalila Yeates, Abbi York, Autumn Lynn Bourque, Breanna Sue Bourque and Rand Bourque; great grandchildren: Derrick, David, Kaylea, Nevaeh Marie, Zayden Joe, Kaiden Damon, Travis Brandon, Derek, Elston, Mallory Kate and Caoilinn.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 1:00pm at Maple Hill Cemetery.
