Betty Higginbotham Carpenter

Betty Higginbotham Carpenter passed away quietly on Aug 8, 2025. Betty was born in West Virginia in 1933. Betty and her family moved to Huntsville, AL in 1976. Betty worked as a nurse at Huntsville Hospital and Fox Army Medical Center. Betty and her family moved from Huntsville, AL to Elkmont, AL in 1991.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband’s James Edward Higginbotham (1980) Theodore Carpenter (2007), and 3 brothers James Dallas Peters, Orville Vincent Peters and Jack Peters.

Betty is survived by her children Robin Littleton, Leilani Capps and James Edward Higginbotham.
