Beverly Carroll Henry, age 74, passed away early Friday morning, May 23, 2025.
Beverly was born to Felice Elizabeth Lollis and Lonnie Sykes on July 18, 1950, at 9:35 pm. She was the oldest of five children: three sisters, Donna, Velda, and Anita, and one brother, Lonnie Jr.
For many years Beverly worked at Amoco Oil and retired at T.J. Maxx. She was a loving, caring person and everybody loved her. She loved to be called ‘lil Bev’. Bev was the life of the party. She loved to let everyone know when she was in the building. Bev’s favorite saying was “Hey, Hey Bev in the house!!”
She leaves behind her only child, Tanya (Carl) Gaines; grandchildren, Taquella and Kayunna Gaines; two great-grandsons, Jaylen and Ja’Corrie; one granddaughter, Jayda; four nieces, Felice (Artis), Tomara (Lenier), Nikiya (Robert), Kristen (Don), and a host of family and friends.
Bev is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Sykes and Felice Elizabeth Lollis Sykes; her husband, AL Henry; and two grandsons, Juantero and Kyle Gaines.
She is loved and very much missed.
