Bhuminder Singh, age 73, of Huntsville, Alabama, died at his home on February 12, 2021, after a long illness.
Bhuminder is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Jagdeep (“Neera”); his daughter, Berneet and her husband, Anthony; his son, Virtaj and his wife, Sarah; his son, Jyotpal, and his wife, Charly; his mother, Jogindar (“Mummy Ji”); his brother, Gurinder and his wife, Harpinder; his sister, Satinder and her husband, Manbir; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Bhuminder was a proud founding father of the Sikh community of Huntsville, Alabama. He retired from his long career of over 40 years as an engineer for several aerospace industry leaders. He was a never-wavering fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions football team, through all of the team’s ups and downs. Above all, he was a loving and well-loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Due to the need for physical distancing, visitation and cremation will be limited to family. A Sikh memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Food Bank of North Alabama.
