Bret Alan Wade

Bret Alan Wade, 63, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away unexpectedly and went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026.

Bret was born on June 17, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska to John and Janice Wade. After growing up as a military brat living around the world, his family settled in Huntsville, Alabama where he graduated from Butler High School in 1980. He worked for U-Haul as well as a couple printing companies until being called to ministry. He graduated from Harvest Time’s School of Ministry then joined the staff at Harvest Time Church as an Associate Pastor from 1992-1999. He was the Senior Pastor for Realm Ministries from 1999-2016. Bret then continued his work as an author, speaker, coach, and life consultant with Fresh Vision Ministries. His heart was for the nations with friends around the world as well as multiple ministry trips spent in South Africa, India, and Canada. His passion in life was to help others transform their lives and come to know God personally outside of the confines of the Church.

Bret will be remembered for his love of God, family, the beach, coffee, movies, and chicken wings.

Bret is lovingly survived by his fiancé, Sam Moss; his daughter, Jessica Deahl (Chad); his son, Jonathan Wade (April); his parents, John and Janice Wade; his brothers Jeff Wade (Lori) and Randy Wade (Trish); and his grandchildren - Elijah, Troy, and Natalie.

A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at Spry Funeral Home on April 29, 2026 at 4PM followed immediately by a celebration of life ceremony at 5PM officiated by Pastor Rines Varrette.
