Brian Walton Ham, age 49 of Harvest, passed away July 30, 2024, in Lakeland, Florida after a hard-fought battle of Liver and Kidney Disease.
Brian was born March 21, 1975, in Souel Korea on a US Army Base. Grew up in Woodville Alabama, and graduated from Woodville H.S. He also attended Auburn University. He truly believed in Auburn and loved it.
He was known for his contagious smile, big laugh, and kind heart. He loved being a proud father to his two daughters, Elizabeth Grace Ham and Emma Kate Ham. He was a devoted husband to his wife Erica Elaine Ham (Brakefield) for 15 years. He loved all things Auburn, Greenbay Packers Football, and Boston Redsocks Baseball. When he had free time he enjoyed golf, playing poker, and always spent time with his girls. Brian was also known all over Huntsville for his years of work in the service industry. He was the owner and heart of the successful West End Grill in Huntsville, Alabama where he made countless connections and friendships.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Elizabeth Ham and grandfather, Charles W. Ham Senior.
Brian is survived by his wife, Erica Elaine Ham; daughters, Elizabeth Grace Ham and Emma Kate Ham; parents, Charles Walton Ham and Patricia Joy Ham; his uncles, Michael "Mike" Ham, James Marcus "Marc” Ham (Cherie), loving mother-in-law, Kimberly Beasley; father-in-law Kevin Brakefield (Sherry); brother-in-law, Nicholas Brakefield (Anna Kate); as well as nieces and a nephew.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 3:00 until 5:45pm. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm in Spry Funeral Home's Chapel.
