Carl Hall, 87, passed away peacefully on April 19,2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
He lived a life rooted in devotion to his family and friends, his country, and the work he took great pride in every day.
Carl proudly served in the United States National Guard, BTRY “D” 279th AAA BN., before building a successful career as an electrical contractor. He began learning his trade at just 15 years old under the guidance of his father, a foundation that led him to establish and operate his own business, Hall Electric, for over 61 years. His work ethic, skill, and integrity earned him the respect of his community and all who knew him.
Known for his quick wit, generous spirit and the natural gift for storytelling. Carl had a special way of making people laugh and feel at ease. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his grandson, who brought him endless joy.
Carl had a mechanical mind and a talent for problem solving. He could build and fix anything he put his mind to, but more importantly, he was someone you could always count on. He gave his time and skills, and his heart freely to others. His life was one of quiet strength, steady love, and deep commitment.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Hall; his daughter Carla Durham; his son-in-law, David Durham; his cherished grandson, Tyler Durham; his sister Mary Ann Mitchner; his two brothers, Bobby Hall and Charles Hall, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed and lovely remembered by all that knew him.
