Carlen Barry Balentine, age 66 of Athens, Alabama passed away March 8, 2019. He was born on December 18, 1952 in Mishawaka, Indiana to James and Imagene (Belle) Balentine.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Balentine; son Carlen Balentine, Jr.; daughter Tammy Reed; and grandchildren Aubree Maze, Greyden Maze, Carson Reed, and Ashlyn Reed.

A memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:30 am at at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, 1015 Fairview Church Road, Iron City, TN 38463.
