Carolyn Marie (Spitzer) Haskins

Carolyn Marie Spitzer Haskins, was born February 17,1945 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Dorthy Doyle and Joe Bill Spitzer. She graduated from SR Butler High School in Huntsville,  AL in 1963. She was married to Ron Haskins from 1969 to 1999 and lived in Cedar Bluff, AL for decades and called the small town home. Ms. Haskins worked as a church secretary at Jackson Way Baptist Church and Cedar Bluff Baptist Church and she also participated in many volunteer activities with the church. Ms. Haskins was a housewife, caregiver, was an exceptional cook. She was skilled at sewing and made many beautiful dresses for her daughter. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, as well as many aunts and uncles.
She leaves her beloved Sister Rita Yarbrough, her son Dave Haskins, her daughter Beth (David) Lang, her granddaughter Lucy Lang, her niece Laura (Larry Barkley)Yarbrough, her nephew Joe (Christina) Yarbrough, many great nieces and a great nephew, her Sister in law Gayle (Chris)Spurlock, her nephew Mike (Anita) Spurlock, and many cousins and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Outreach Program at Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church or a feeding program near you. 

A private service will be held at a later date.
