Charles H Clardy, 89, formerly of Meridianville, AL and currently of Flintville, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Mr. Clardy worked for Madison county CO-OP for 25 years. His employment time was spent as the manager of the petroleum plant on Pulaski Pike, manager of CO-OP in Hazel Green when they opened in the 1970's, and manager of the grainery in Meridianville for Madison County CO-OP.
He then spent 24 years as the supervisor of the Madison county Water Department. He was the founder of Clardy farms along with the help of his brother, Jim Clardy, and his wife, Vera Clardy. Now currently operated by the third generation.
Mr. Clardy was a strong supporter and major contributor to the FFA program at Riverside Christian Academy in Fayettville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera Rodman Clardy, his parents, Dock and Daisy Clardy, his brothers, James M "Jim" Clardy and William C. Clardy, and his sister, Virginia "Tennie" Clardy Franklin.
Survivors include his daughter, Daisy Clardy White (husband Jamie White), and his grandson James Charles Arlan "Jimmy" White.
Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm. Services will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
