Charles Babe Hughes Jr.

Mr. Charles Babe Hughes Jr. 81, of Huntsville, AL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. Charles was born in Lexington, MS and grew up in Augusta, GA. A graduate of Richmond Academy, he served in the U. S. Army in the Signal Corps. Continuing his great interest in electronics, he traveled for Electro Tech, finally settling in Huntsville. During a very successful career as president of Hughes Associates, Electronics with offices in the southeast, he represented international companies.

Charles is survived by his wife Margo; daughter Rosie and son-in-law Jim Lindsay, and Brother in law Fr. Shaun O'Conner. He was preceded by sons Doyle and Mark and a brother Emory. Also survived by sister Joy and brother-in-law Wade Mallard; niece Ginger and husband Eric Arnold; nephews Wade and wife Natalie Mallard and Jonas Ellrod.

Visitation for Mr. Hughes will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Doctrinal Bible Church in Huntsville, AL. Services will follow the visitation at 2:00pm. The family requests no flowers and you make donations to your favorite charity.
