Charles Uzzile Putnam

Charles Uzzile Putnam, age 83, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at home.

Charles Putnam was preceded In death by Karen Putnam, his beloved wife of 45 years.

He is survived by two sons, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren. Eric Life-Putnam, his wife Sharon Life-Putnam, and their two daughters Leslie and Ellen Life-Putnam reside in Huntsville, Alabama. Christopher Putnam, his wife Anna Putnam, and their son Liam Putnam reside in San Diego, California.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Friday, April 5, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. We invite friends to join us, as we honor a gentle man who loved his family, his friends and his country. Our time will be informal, and we would love to hear your memories of Charles.
