Mr. Charles "Chuck" Leighton Soloman, III, age 64 of Brownsboro, passed away Tuesday in Huntsville. He was a member of the Rocket City Van Club and had an extensive DVD collection with a love of Dr. Who series. Chuck enjoyed camping and worked for Huntsville Hospital for many years in environmental services. He spent several years of his life taking care of his mother.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Soloman Jr; sister, Sandra McConaghy; niece, April Lee Wright; and great-niece Yanessa Lynn.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Glenda Soloman; four sisters; Charlyne Albee, and husband Leo, of Crown Point, Indiana, Robin Soloman, of Madison, Alabama, Tammi Soloman, of Brownsboro, Alabama, and Jennifer Maynard, of Meridianville, AL; 30 nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Friday, June 13th, from 12:00 until 12:45pm. A service will follow in Spry Funeral Home's Chapel with Bishop Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Travis Family Cemetery, Scottsboro,AL at 3:00pm.
