Charlotte Anne Manning, 67, of Fayetteville, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, after courageously battling cancer for many years. Born on December 31, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Elliott E. Manning and Erlene Hughes Manning. Charlotte lived a life marked by resilience, determination, and love and devotion to her family and country. She proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged following a service-connected injury. Despite the challenges she faced, she carried herself with strength and determination. Charlotte enjoyed simple pleasures like camping, tending to her plants, and watching Hallmark movies. Charlotte’s life was a testament to courage, determination, and enduring love. She will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
Charlotte’s greatest joy in life was her daughter, Alishia Manning Williams, and her son-in-law, Steele, who survive her. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Angela and Wanda. Her love for her family was matched only by her affection for her dogs, who were always at her side.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Saturday, from 9:30 until 10:45am. A service will follow at 11:00 am in Spry Funeral Home's Chapel with pastor Austin Dutton officiating. An interment service will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Merdidianville, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local animal shelter or a veterans’ organization.
