Chong Cha (Yi) Bowman

Mrs. Chong Cha Bowman, age 78 of Huntsville, died 2 August 2020, at her home in Huntsville. Born in Korea, Mrs. Bowman has lived in Huntsville for the past 43 years where her deceased husband, Alan Bowman, retired from the US Army after 22 years of service and then later from SCI Samina. Mrs. Bowman was a member of the Korean First Assembly of God. She is survived by her two daughters, Doris Gothard (James) and Alice Lessmann (Steve); and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gothard, Leah Lessmann, and Ben Lessmann. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will be at Korean First Assembly of God (2904 Pike Avenue, Huntsville, AL,) where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday August 5, 2020 . A service will follow at 10:00 am with Pastor Jin officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Korean First Assembly of God Church.
