Clarence E. Hilliard

Clarence Edward Hilliard, age 81, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Huntsville, AL.  He was born on December 12, 1942, in Madison County, Alabama. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Clarence was a simple man who found joy in the little things in life. His favorite pastime was fishing, which he pursued with great enthusiasm and skill. He would often spend hours by the lakes and rivers, casting his line and enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Clarence's love for fishing reflected his patient and calm demeanor. He also enjoyed shooting pool, and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Beatrice “Bea” Hilliard; parents, Edger and Hazel Hilliard; sister,  Mable; and brother, Thomas.

Clarence is survived by his children, Lisa (Larry) Hoffmeister and Steven (Amanda) Hilliard; nephew, Toney Shaneyfelt; grandchildren,  Ashley (Brian), China, Donald (Dani), Kaylah, Stephanie (Brandon); and great-grandchildren, Drake, Mason, Ava, and Jaxon.

Clarence will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He touched the lives of those around him with his quiet presence and genuine friendship. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

May Clarence Edward Hilliard rest in eternal peace, forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
