Colleen Debra Hardman, 72, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on May 13, 2025.
Colleen was born on April 21, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of Richard and Marianne (Cortopassi) Callier.
Before moving to Alabama, Colleen loved working as a cashier at Schnucks.
Colleen was a proud mother and grandmother—roles she embraced with immense joy and love. Known for her bright optimism and giving nature, she brought warmth and spirit into every room she entered. She found great joy in fellowship with others and was a proud member of the Wednesday Club in Eureka, MO where she enjoyed camaraderie and community. She loved Country music, and loved the desert landscape of Tucson, Arizona. Colleen was a faithful attender of Community Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her beloved son, Colin Hardman, and daughter-in-law, Leslee Hardman; her treasured granddaughters, Scottlyn and Berklee Hardman; and her sisters, Christine Jones (Greg), Karen Schaefer, Darliene Callier, and Charlie Emery (Mark). She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Marianne Callier and her brother-in-law, Dennis Schaefer.
Her legacy is one of resilience, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Colleen will be cremated according to her wishes. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Community Fellowship Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
