Constantine Demetriou

Constantine “Gus” Demetriou, age 89, of Madison, AL, was born in Springfield, MA, the son of Nicholas
and Dorothea Demetriou. He went to be with our Lord on July 20, 2021.
The son of hard-working Greek immigrants, Gus graduated from high school and enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Korean war. He returned home and graduated from college in TN with a degree in Engineering. He worked in Huntsville as an aerospace engineer for many years before retiring. Gus enjoyed spending time with his family at Guntersville Lake, fishing and boating. He was married for 50 years to Bobbie Demetriou and has two daughters, Cindy Sharp and Dottie Berry, and two grandchildren, Phillip Bristow and Paige Bristow. Phillip recently married and we added Katelyn to our family. Paige is engaged to Cory Hall. He was loved dearly in his later years by Valerie Lanier. He is also survived by a sister-in-law and nieces and nephews whom he loved on both sides of the family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Dorothea Demetriou, and brother, James Demetriou.
