Corrine A. McKelvey (Aunrey Corrine Lankster McKelvey) 88 years old, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on February 3rd, 2021 in the Halifax Hospice Comfort Care, she passed peacefully after complications to a fall in the long-term care facility she had been residing in for the last 10 months.
Corrine was born in Madison Alabama to Boyd & Estelle Lankster on July 7th, 1932.
Corrine is survived by her sons Randall McKelvey (and wife Janice McKelvey) of Tennessee, Bruce McKelvey (and wife Christina McKelvey) of Alabama, her daughter Freddie Friend (and husband Leland Friend) of Florida, she is survived by grandchildren Randi Salsman, Sandi Merriman, Shannon McKelvey, Julie Hudson, Brian Hunt, Chad McKelvey, Christian Grady. She is also survived by great grandchildren Bradley, Max, Jadon, Kai, Juda, Sophia, Ava, Daisy, Ellie, Jack, Arely, Zana, Harley, and Levi, and great-great grandchildren Carson, Corrine, Isabelle, Charlotte, and Naomi
Corrine is survived by sister, Dorothy Lepper of Port Orange Florida, brother, James Lankster of Lakeland, Florida.
Corrine is preceded in death by her Parents, Boyd & Estelle Lankster, her son David McKelvey, her brothers Earl Lankster & Alfred Lankster.
Funeral service will be held at Spry Funeral Home 2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810 on Saturday, February 13th at 2:00 PM with William (Bill) McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, 202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801
Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home 2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810 on Saturday, February 13th at 1:00 PM. Spry Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Corrine was a devout Christian, and someone who never met a stranger, all who knew her loved her. She was a person that welcomed everyone into her home and loved all unconditionally.
A lover of gardening, birds, horses, and the beach. Corrine is riding in the fields of Glory and resting in her eternal garden, surrounded by her loved ones and the most beautiful birds.
