Cristin Marie Billingsley

Cristin Marie Billingsley, age 43, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she lived most of her life in Huntsville. She attended Huntsville High School and Montevallo University, majoring in History.

Horses were her life. She began riding at the age 6 and started competition as a pre-teen eventually rising to National Competition in 3 Day Eventing (dressage, show jumping and cross country.) Cristin preferred to spend her time at the barn with her horse, Mocca. She was an avid animal lover and had several treasured fur babies throughout her life, latest a devoted rescue, Gunter, who was her constant companion and service dog.

Cristin is survived by her parents Charles and Emma Billingsley; brother, Charles Billingsley; niece, Brooke Billingsley. She is preceded in death by sisters, Shelia and Shelley.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program, in honor of Cristin.
