Curtis Leroy (Jr.) Bond

Curtis Leroy Bond Jr, 66, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Hazel Green, Alabama where he lived since September 2024. Born in Pennsylvania on July 20, 1958, Curtis Jr was the son of Curtis L Bond Sr and Joyce Marie Motz of Stroudsburg, PA. He spent most of his life in Vero Beach and Fort Piece, Florida where he loved to fish and be near the water. Curtis Jr worked at Piper Aircraft and operated heavy equipment for many years before his tenure at Piper. Curtis Jr was known for having a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people around him laugh.

Curtis Jr is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Warner.

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Autumn Snyder; grandchildren, Autumn Rylie Snyder and Austin Ryan Clifford; and sister, Debra Burkett.

Prior to his passing, Curtis Jr asked to forgo a traditional funeral service and let his final resting place be the place he loved the most, the Atlantic Ocean.
