It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Herbert Bradley III, age 57, on March 11, 2025. Born on May 31, 1967, Herb, also known as “Herb Superb”, lived a life full of love, service, and an undeniable passion for the outdoors. He was a man of few words but deep convictions, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Herb was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Sue McFerren, and father, Daniel Bradley II. He is survived by his daughter, Audrey Rivera (Daniel), his granddaughter, Athena, his dad, Bruce McFerren, and his siblings, Roberta "Bobbi" McFadden (Jack), Tari Kinney (Russell), and Paul Bradley (Kendra). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who cherished him.
Herb was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Sergeant during Desert Storm and the Gulf War. His service was a defining part of his life, and he carried the pride and lessons of those years with him always.
Outside of his military service, Herb found peace in the simplicity of nature. An avid outdoorsman, he spent countless hours hiking, fishing, camping, and gardening. His love for animals was unparalleled. Whether it was the quiet stillness of the woods or the thrill of a fresh catch, Herb found joy in the world around him.
Herb’s quiet wisdom, deep love for his family, and unwavering devotion to those close to him will never be forgotten. He leaves a legacy of kindness, adventure, and an enduring love for nature and family.
Herb's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 136 Rix Mills Rd, New Concord, OH 43762, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Dinner will be provided.
