Daniel Chauncey Knowles

Daniel Chauncey Knowles, 21, born on February 23, 2004, to Ruth Schutte and Anson Knowles, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. 

Daniel graduated from Grissom High School and proceeded into the workforce and was employed at McDonalds. He loved animals, and during his high school years he volunteered at the Huntsville City Animal Shelter, playing with and caring for the animals that were rescued there. He was also active in his community, volunteering at his church's car clinic on Saturdays. He was a caring soul, not just to his community but to his family, caring for his great-grandmother as she continued to age, as well as caring for his siblings above himself. He was a regular pickleball player with his church group and enjoyed Warhammer with his friends at The Deep.

He had an avid interest in computers, cars and all things technology. He was an energetic, vibrant young man who was always one hundred percent committed to any activity he was party to. He was a loyal son, a good friend and a devoted young man.

He is survived on his mother's side by his great-grandmother, Betty Bloodworth, his grandfather, Robert Stafford, his grandmother, Cynthia Alvis, his aunt and uncle, Shelley and Andrew Wang, his mother, Liz Schutte, and his siblings, Brielle Schutte, William Schutte and Jude Schutte

He is survived on his father's side by his grandfather Knowlen F Knowles Jr, his step-grandmother Fuqua Knowles, his grandmother Nancy Knowles, his step-grandfather Stephen B Kellner, his step-grandmother Mary Lou Kellner, his uncles Foster Knowles, Thomas Knowles, John Knowles, and Tom Kurkowski, his aunts Jessica Knowles, Kendall Knowles, and Melissa Kellner, his father Anson Knowles, his step-mother Melanie Knowles, his siblings Miles Knowles and Molly Knowles and eight cousins.
