Daniel Jeffrey Shaulis

Daniel Jeffrey Shaulis, 35, beloved son of Veronica Shaulis and the late Glen Shaulis passed from this earth on June 10, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by his family following a year-long battle with leukemia.

Daniel is survived by his 2 biological children Carter and Alayna Shaulis and his son by heart Westley Barrows; his loving mother Veronica Shaulis and stepfather Joe Quillin; his "sissyfer" Angela Schmitt and husband Tyson; nieces Tyra Jimerson and Anna Beal and nephew Jett Beal. 

Daniel was a history buff, an Alabama Crimson Tide and Baltimore Ravens football lover, and enjoyed any song with a good guitar riff.

A special thanks to the entire oncology team at Huntsville Hospital for providing excellent care, love, and support to Daniel and his family throughout his illness. 

Daniel will be dearly missed. A seaside memorial will be held at a later date.
