Darrell Ray Lannom

Darrell Ray Lannom died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age of 63. He was a selfless, genuine man who loved sharing stories and spending time with friends and family. Following his service in the United States Air Force, he pursued his passion in the printing industry, where he touched the lives of all those he supported. Thanks to his dedication to provide athletics to the underserved, Mt.Carmel Recreation was founded and has now grown to the Buckhorn Youth Athletic Association serving thousands of children through the years.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Daryl Lannom; his three sons, Kyle, Brian, and Tyler; as well as four grandchildren. His mother, Nadine; and three siblings, Pete, Gary, and Cindy survive him in Marion, IL. He joins his father, Paul Edward Lannom; sister, Sandra Wilson; and nephew, Jimmy Rhodes in the afterlife. Darrell’s loved ones will receive friends and guests on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
