David Carl Searcy

David Carl Searcy, 80, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on December 30, 2024. 

David is preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Lackey) Searcy; parents, Lester and Jewel (Marlar) Searcy; and brother, Daniel Searcy.

He is survived by sons, Robert Searcy, of Abbeyville, AL and Paul Searcy, of Deatsville, AL; grandchildren, Mary and Ann Marie Searcy, of Deatsville, AL, and Payton Searcy, of Abbeyville, AL; sisters, Barbara Searcy, of Huntsville, AL, and Sue Searcy, of Bluntsville, AL; aunt, Dot Spencer, of Augusta, GA; and sister-in-law, Joyce Stewart. 

David was very strong in his belief in God and was a faithful member of the Baptist church. 

A private service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
