Dennis Wayne Wimberly

Dennis Wayne Wimberly, 63, went to his heavenly home on November 16, 2019.  Dennis was born in Salem, Illinois on April 20, 1956 to Dudley Wimberly and Donna Campbell. Dennis moved to Huntsville, AL in 1976 and married his wife of 42 years , Sandra Kay Wimberly. Together they raised 4 children. Dennis was heavily involved in his church. He was a strong man of faith and loved Jesus, his family, and people fiercely. 

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Wimberly and his children, Johnny Wimberly, Brian Wimberly; Brooke, Bryleigh, Presley, and Karli Wimberly, Misty Cummings; Cris, Addyson, and Barrett Cummings, Faith Downs; Erik and Karter Downs. Dennis is also survived by 4 siblings; Mickey Wimberly, Randy Wimberly, Jeannie Campbell, and Danny Campbell. He is preceded in death by his parents; Dudley Wimberly, Donna Campbell and stepfather Frank Campbell; brothers, Terry and Ricky Wimberly and sister Becky Wimberly.

Dennis lived his life by Proverbs 16:9 - We can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps. His last words were, " Bless someone today, Show them God's love in you".

The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 am at Faith Chapel Church, he will lie in state before the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will be in Bartee Cemetery in Lacey's Spring.
