Dolores Mary Louise (Petitpas) Meade

Dolores Mary Louise Meade, 86, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on June, 15th, 2022. Dolores was born to John J. Petitpas and Mary Lavoie in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dolores married Sterling Chamberlain on March, 6th,1951, in Keene, New Hampshire. Their children born from this marriage, and survivors of Dolores are sons James E. Chamberlain(Candy) of Jeffery, New Hampshire, Steven L. Chamberlain(Shirley) Of Winter Haven, Florida, daughters Carolynn J. Knight(Tom) of Kenswek, Va. and Marilynn J. Chamberlain Meade Shanline of Pratt, Kansas. Dolores and Sterling were divorced on May 5th, 1958. Dolores is also survived by many grands, great-grands and great-great grands.

Dolores married Charles J. Meade on March, 6th,1959  in Keene, New Hampshire. Wedding was blessed on June 11th, 1961 in Norwich, Connecticut. There were no children born from this marriage, however, Charles adopted Marilynn Chamberlain as his own in 1961.

Dolores worked as a CNA most of her working life and was dedicated to her church where she participated in most all activities including choir, charities, quiltting,and she loved to cook as well.

Dolores was preceded in death by Charles Meade, Sterling Chamberlain, John Petitpas and  Albertine Petitpas,, and Robert and Anna Petitpas.

Father Joy will be presiding over the Memorial Services and Interment at Huntsville Memory Gardens along with her husband.

Family has requested no flowers for services however any donations may be directed to Queen of The Universe.
